Lhaviyani Atoll, also called Atoll
Faadhippolhu, is an administrative division of the Republic of Maldives.
It has a total of 54 islands though only 5 are inhabited. Its populated
islands are Naifaru, Hinnavaru, Kurendhoo and Olhuvelifushi, while
Naifaru serves as its capital. The only canning factory of the nation is
sited in Felivaru, an island located between Naifaru and Hinnavaru.
Resembling any other atoll, the islets of Lhaviyani are full of natural
temptations that never fail to attract tourists with an adventurous bent
of mind.
