Faafu Atoll is one of the
administrative divisions of the Island Nation - Maldives. It is also
called Northern Nilandhe Atoll by the locals. It has a total of 23
islands from which only 5 are inhabited. The island of Nilandhoo makes
its administrative nerve center. Similar to most of the other atolls,
Faafu Atoll is renowned for its serene beaches, exotic aqua creatures
and excellent coral reef. The majority of the islands is deserted, or is
marked by private resorts, where unlimited excitement is assured.
