Addu Atoll, sited about 478 kms in the south of Male,
is the southernmost atoll of the Maldives. Its administrative name is
Seenu Atoll and Hithadhoo serves as its executive capital. Addu Atoll
comprises six populated and approximately twenty uninhabited islands, on
the whole. Its inhabited islands on the western reef include Hithadhoo,
Maradhoo, Feydhoo, Gan, etc. Each of the islands is connected with other
via road or causeway. On the east, the islands of Meedhoo and Hulhudhoo
share a large land mass. Addu Atoll boasts of a salubrious weather and a
